»Recital for Cathy« at the Dresdner Kunstfest

Upon invitation of the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden, Zafraan Ensemble will participate in a new production of Luciano Berio’s »Recital for Cathy« on 26 September 2015.

Michael Höppner’s staging with mezzo-soprano Léa Trommenschlager and conductor Johannes Zurl integrates ingeniously the space of Albertinum Dresden.

Within the Dresdner Kunstfest, under the artistic guidance of Daniel Kühnel, a total of 29 concerts and music theatre performances take place, all of which are linked in some way to the important works of Dresden’s collections. Thanks to the musical intervention, the museums’ exhibits will be put to music.
