For the coming year, the Zafraan Ensemble would like to strengthen its staff in the areas of production, editing, graphics and administration. Initially, the position of production manager on a large musical theater project has now been advertised, and further job offers will follow shortly.
The Zafraan Ensemble is looking for a musical theater production in Berlin from February 1, 2018
Production manager
on a fee basis. The project runs until October 2018 and includes several performances and guest appearances. The work is done in blocks (in February, beginning of March, beginning of May, beginning of October), so that a flexible combination with other projects or activities is possible.
Your tasks include:
– Collaboration with the artistic team (direction, equipment, dramaturgy, management)
– Collaboration with the respective venues and cooperation partners
– Logistical preparation and support of rehearsals and performances in Berlin
– Logistical preparation and support of guest performances
– Communication interface between everyone Project participants
– planning, organizing and booking travel, transport and accommodation
We expect from you:
– Completed studies (Bachelor) or ongoing studies (Master)
– Interest in musical theater and enjoy working with musicians and artists
– Organizational talent, ability to work in a team, independent way of working
– Knowledge of office software
– English and/or Knowledge of French
– Willingness to travel short distances for guest performances
– Willingness to work evenings and weekends for performances
– Class B driving license
