Suite or serial? | Night concert at Güldener Herbst
Tickets and information: https://gueldener-herbst.de/event/suite-oder-seriell-nachtkonzert
Which composers have had a decisive influence on Thuringian Baroque music, and which composers are the pioneers today? What influence do Thuringian Baroque music treasures still have on composers of our time? And how do today’s works relate to their predecessors? We will address these questions at our night concert. We will present works by Marta Kowalczuk, Sven Daigger, Michael Obst, Johannes Hildebrandt, Jörn Arnecke and Sarah Nemtsov. Each of these works will be paired with a Baroque piece, and the composers will explain their works and their views on Thuringian Baroque music in short interviews.
