In the second edition of the Match Cut Festival, the Zafraan Ensemble meets the Babylon Orchestra and Sollmann & Gürtler, the duo made up of producer and DJ Phillip Sollmann (aka Efdemin) and multi-instrumentalist John Gürtler. In addition to solo sets from participating groups, four commissioned works bring together contemporary music, oriental sonic worlds and electro-acoustic sounds, and the salons are hosting chamber music, improvisation and installations as well. The Match Cut Map from Invisible Playground network invites the audience to explore their own auditory experiences, both online and on site, and to network along musical connections.
