21 Sounds
“21 Sounds” transforms memories into sound.
Together with the Zafraan Ensemble, two classes from the Albert Einstein and Carl Friedrich von Siemens Gymnasium schools will present compositions they have created themselves.
These pieces emerged from an exploration of personal memories and sounds. Over the course of three months, the students participated in creative workshops where they used not only classical instruments but also unusual materials and everyday objects to discover new timbres, experiment with them, and weave them into unique soundscapes.
The concert combines emotional expressiveness, unconventional playing techniques, and collaborative composition into a vibrant, multifaceted musical experience. The Zafraan Ensemble rounds out the evening with contemporary music, which also served as the starting point for the project. It is an inspiring sonic journey that demonstrates how music brings personal stories to life and connects people.
