All right. Goodnight. is going on a guest appearance in Manchester on July 6th, 7th and 8th. July 2023!
In March 2014, the passenger plane MH370 disappeared from radar shortly after take-off while flying from Beijing to Kuala Lumpur. Around the same time, author and director Helgard Haug’s father was diagnosed with dementia. In their production “All right. “Good night”, the theater maker from the Rimini Protocol directing collective combines these events into a complex reflection on disappearance in which both perspectives interpenetrate each other. The text is not spoken, but rather projected onto a gauze curtain; Other important components of the evening include the music of the composer Barbara Morgenstern. That’s “All right.” “Good night” is not only an evening of contemporary drama with an above-average intense text experience, but also one that breaks new ground in terms of staging and aesthetics.
