Since 1988, Aribert Reimann has been committed to young composers with the Busoni Composition Prize. The Zafraan Ensemble is taking part in this year's award ceremony for Ashley Fure and Bnaya Halperin-Kaddari.
The 2015 winner is the American composer Ashley Fure, whose versatile works developed from the laws of movement of sound make her one of the most interesting artists of her year. Bnaya Halperin-Kaddari from Israel received the sponsorship award. The award ceremony and concert – with the Zafraan Ensemble under Manuel Nawri – present both award winners.
