On September 6, 2013, the Zafraan Ensemble will contribute a performance choreographed by Louise Wagner to the opening of “move – align – avoid” at the Kunstverein Harburger Bahnhof.
move – align – avoid. About the swarm as a principle and phenomenon . An exhibition with Julian Charrière, Nadine Fecht, Susanne Kriemann, George Maciunas, Yutaka Makino, Benjamin Patterson, Bettina Pousttchi, Radek Community, Man Ray and Mark Thompson.
move – align – avoid : orient yourself to the movement of your immediate neighbors, follow them and at the same time not come too close to them. A swarm is based on these three rules. The exhibition deals with the phenomenon of this formation between chaos and order and with the principle that is also used as a cultural transmission model for collective dynamic forms of organization.
