ENSEMBLEFEST Berlin 2026
The 10th anniversary of the Monat der zeitgenössischen Musik will be celebrated as part of the inaugural ENSEMBLEFEST Berlin 2026 with a three-day programme of concerts and performances. At the heart of the festival, organised by Ensembletreffen Berlin e.V., lies the collaboration within Berlin’s multifaceted ensemble scene, which is characterised by a wide spectrum of aesthetic forms of expression and a high degree of artistic diversity. Participating ensembles include: ensemble apparat, ensemble mosaik, FrauVonDa//, KNM Berlin, Kollektiv Unruhe, Lange//Berweck//Lorenz, LUX:NM, MAM.manufaktur für aktuelle musik, Maulwerker, Modern Art Ensemble, Schwelbrandorchester, Splitter Orchester, Trickster Orchestra, Zafraan Ensemble and Zinc & Copper. The ensembles represent a wide range of aesthetic approaches and operate across various genres such as new music, real-time music, improvisation, vocal music, trans-traditional music, music-theatre forms – and everything in between.
