On June 15, 2014, the Zafraan Ensemble will perform at the Berlin Biennale exhibition in the Haus am Waldsee, where the installation concert “Geopoiesis” with works by Scelsi, Berio, Biber, Henze, Ferneyhough and Xenakis can be experienced from 6 p.m.
“Geopoiesis” for a fluid viewer.
An installation concert.
A travel.
A journey freed from the concept of duration, where a polytopic multidimensional world is opened to the audience, the travelers.
A journey in which an agile viewer articulates a new, multi-focal space-time that offers a variety of perspectives, enabling an alternative way of viewing itself.
With solo pieces by Scelsi, Berio, Biber, Henze, Ferneyhough and Xenakis, the Zafraan Ensemble leads through the rooms and the acoustic properties of the Haus am Waldsee.
As part of the Berlin Biennale exhibition, works by the following artists will be shown in the Haus am Waldsee: Mathieu Kleyebe Abonnenc, Maria Thereza Alves, Patrick Alan Banfield, Monica Bonvincini, Angela Bulloch, Jimmie Durham, Michaela Eichwald, Matts Fehlstam, Christodoulos Panayiotou, Slavs and Tatars, Carla Zaccagnini.
