At the second edition of the Match Cut Festival, the Zafraan Ensemble meets the Babylon Orchestra and Sollmann & Gürtler, the duo of producer and DJ Phillip Sollmann (aka Efdemin) and multi-instrumentalist John Gürtler. In addition to solo sets from the participating formations, four commissioned compositions combine contemporary music with oriental sound worlds and electro-acoustic sounds, and there is also chamber music, improvisation and installations in the salons. With the Match Cut Map from Netzwerk Invisible Playground, the audience is invited to explore their own audio biographies online and live on site and to network along musical connections.
