At the invitation of the Dresden State Art Collections, the Zafraan Ensemble will take part in a new production of Luciano Berio's “Recital for Cathy” on September 26, 2015.
Michael Höppner’s production with the mezzo-soprano Léa Trommenschlager and the conductor Johannes Zurl plays virtuoso on the premises of the Albertinum Dresden.
As part of the Dresden Art Festival, a total of 29 concerts and musical theater performances will take place in the Dresden State Art Collections under the artistic direction of Daniel Kühnel, which will relate to important works from the Dresden collections. Through the musical intervention, the museum exhibits are made to sound, so to speak.
