The Zafraan Ensemble is pleased to announce its CD release "Samir Odeh-Tamimi: Chamber Works" on Cairos, which contains eight excellent RBB studio recordings.
The line-up of the pieces varies from solo to various chamber formations (duo, trio and quartet) to large ensembles. The central work Alif also features Salome Kammer (voice) and Manuel Nawri (conductor) as guests. In addition to the CD with first recordings of new works by Samir Odeh-Tamimi, the high-quality digipack also includes a bilingual booklet (EN, DE) with an essay by Claudia Pérez Iñesta and photos of all the artists involved.
