On October 6th and 7th, 2018, the Zafraan Ensemble presents the second part of “Whole Body Like Gone” with music by Christophe Bertrand, Elena Mendoza, Sarah Nemtsov, Yoav Pasovsky, Enno Poppe, Giacinto Scelsi, Johannes Schöllhorn and Nicolai Worsaae in the Berlin radial system.
The second part of “Whole Body Like Gone” is a musical chamber piece of demarcation and appropriation. The sequel further develops the aspect of the simultaneity of introspective and dialogue: We are many selves at the same time, at home in different rooms, which we can leave and return to – but which cannot always be reconciled with one another. The Zafraan Ensemble will once again play on the stage designed by Cora Saller and Martin Mallon’s projections, this time featuring works by Christophe Bertrand, Elena Mendoza, Sarah Nemtsov, Yoav Pasovsky, Enno Poppe, Giacinto Scelsi, Johannes Schöllhorn and Nicolai Worsaae.
The performances will take place on October 6th at 6 p.m. and on October 7th at 4 p.m. as part of the MINI Festival together with La Cage and Les Cris de Paris in the Radialsystem Berlin, whose production “L’Ailleurs de l’autre” is on can be experienced on the first day at 8 p.m. and on the second day at 6 p.m. The Radialsystem offers a discounted combination ticket to visit both productions together. After the performances of “Whole Body Like Gone,” there will be an artist talk about “Whole Body Like Gone” on the first day at 7:15 p.m. and a panel discussion about both productions on the second day at 5:15 p.m.
