On March 21, 2014, “The Cosmic Octave” by Ulrich Rasche and Nis-Momme Stockmann will celebrate its premiere in the Sophiensaele with music by Ari Benjamin Meyers, and members of the Zafraan Ensemble will be there.
For his new acting project with music, director Ulrich Rasche is inspired by Goethe’s elective affinities , but provides the material with a completely new text by the award-winning young playwright Nis-Momme Stockmann. Rasche, who received the Art Prize of the Academy of Arts in 2013, is collaborating on this production with the American composer Ari Benjamin Meyers (Redux Orchestra, Morton Subotnick, Einstreichende Neuhäusern).
