Will you play Log Book with us ?
On Nov 22nd at 11am in the foyer of the Luxemburg Philharmonic.
LOG BOOK is a game about the power of imagination when listening to music.
Let your imagination run wild!
Hear and Guess. With the specially developed LOG BOOK card game, listen to music and try to connect it with stories, pictures and characters. Are you on the same wavelength as the others? A wonderful starting point for discussing music and getting to know your counterpart. A game for all ages, for every music listener, from children to concert critics, dramaturgs, music and game fans.
The French composer François Sarhan has been keeping a sound diary since 2019. Not in the sense of an intimate journal, but a logbook, like that of a captain who notes down the events of the day. He is interested in the forgotten, the very small, and – following Georges Perec – the unusual. Through these micro-events, we try to make sense of the situation in which we Europeans currently find ourselves.
LOG BOOK is a rereading of the recent past that mixes the collective memory with the individual memory of the spectator. It is a musical play and takes place in a relaxed setting.
